What is forex??

What is Forex?? Forex is an interbank market that was created in 1971 when international trade transitioned from fixed to floating exchange rates. Since then the rates of currencies relative to each other are determined by the most obvious means which is the exchange at a mutually agreed rate. This market surpasses the others in its volume. For example, the daily turnover of world securities market is estimated at $300 billion, while Forex approaches 1 to 3 TRILLION US dollars in the same amount of time. However, Forex is not a market in a traditional sense. It doesn't have a fixed location of the trading floor as, for example, futures market does. The trading is done over the telephone and at the computer terminals in hundreds of banks around the world simultaneously. Futures and securities markets have one more significant feature distinguishing them from Forex, and at the same time restricting them. The trading is suspended at the end of each day and resumed only next morning. Thus, should certain significant developments occur in the USA, the opening of Russian market next morning could quite surprise you, if you're trading there. Forex is open 24 hours a day, and the currency exchange operations are maintained throught working days of the week. Almost every time zone (London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney) has dealers willing to quote currencies.

Hrithik Roshan & Priyanka Chopra

India's hottest hunk, Hrithik Roshan and the reigning Bollywood queen, Priyanka Chopra let their guard down and chat up with Karan Johar.

Hrithik and Priyanka had an absolute ball in this week's episode as Karan confessed, "I have never had people who talk more than me on my talk show." The Krissh duo teased, laughed their heart out and let their hair down, as they din't miss any opportunity to mock each other… even taking digs at each others appetite! Hrithik talked about him being slated as a sex symbol, the sexiest compliment he has received so far, his take on his detractors who say that he works best with his father Rakesh Roshan and the much talked about kiss of Dhoom 2.

Priyanka was also not spared by the hosts' volley of questions. Karan probed Priyanka on her much doubted friendship with Kareena Kapoor, if she is currently dating someone, catfights and controversies and lots more!

And just when the set of controversial Q&A wrapped up and the two attractive actors were about to lean back with a sigh of relief, Karan announced the rapid fire round! So which actor does Hrithik consider a threat? Shah Rukh, Hrithik or Salman - which co-star would Priyanka like to work again with? Kareena as a friend or Kareena as an acquaintance - what does Priyanka choose? A girl from Indian Cinema who turns Hrithik on?

Here are some excerpts from the interview

Karan: What's the sexiest compliment you have received?
Hrithik: Well .. let me just say that .. there were these whole bunch of SMS'es that I got, in which it was pretty clear that a lot of the girls said that they were very happy .. a long way before the film had climaxed …
Karan: (interrupts) … I know of a lot of women who went to see the film with their husbands or their boy friends … and there were very shattered husbands..at the end of the film.. and you managed to do that ..
Hrithik: It should be something that should motivate them

Karan: Would you call them detractors .. the ones who turned around and said that Hrithik Roshan works only with his father? What would you call them?
Hrithik: Angels .. if it weren't for them .. I don't think it would have added that little zing in my drive .. so .. fab .. thank you

Karan: How's it been .. the year .. you have had two big hits .. it's been a fantastic commercial year for you .. are you thrilled .. happy .. waiting to do more exciting work ..
Priyanka: Yes.. I am really looking forward to do some good work.. it has been a fantastic year ..and more than anything my dad come back home this year.. he was really unwell last year … that added just to the whole year ..

Hrithik: You know... If anything ever happened to Krrish … you can easily go ahead and make a super 'Krisshi' ..
Karan: Because she is really a super girl ..
Hrithik: She is crazy .. she is a shocker ..

Karan: Much doubted friendship with Kareena Kapoor no longer exists ..
Priyanka: Of course it does
Karan: You were spotted .. with various dinners .. going out in a group .. Shahid, you, her and of course your good friend Harman .. you'll used to go out a lot .. and now that group seems to have dispersed ..
Priyanka: No .. its not that .. its just that we don't have the time .. In fact Shahid and me are neighbours .. I have brought a house where he lives … I will be seeing a lot of him .. I've been out of town .. So we have not really hung out as much ..

Karan: I asked her this question .. you want to know what she said ..
Priyanka: I think it will be pretty much the same .. unless there is something else
Karan: Well I asked her … I said you know ... are you'll close … she said we are not anymore..
Priyanka: We used to go on holidays …which we don't anymore …
Karan: She said we are not .. and it rather be like this …as acquaintances than friends … Has any water flown below this bridge … for her to have said this …
Priyanka: I have no idea .. where that came from ..
Karan: She said that she likes you … you are a nice girl … but its best to keep distance ..
Priyanka: Its her choice .. I am not pouncing on her either … laughs ..
